The Indian tourism and hospitality sector is currently undergoing a radical digital transformation driven by the rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This research article explores the multifaceted role of AI in shaping tourism jobs in India, focusing on its impact on job transformation, skill requirements, and overall workforce efficiency. The study is guided by four primary objectives: to examine how AI redefines traditional job roles, to identify the specific opportunities and challenges associated with AI adoption, to assess improvements in service quality and productivity, and to evaluate the industry and policy responses toward workforce reskilling. Adopting a descriptive and analytical research design, the study utilizes primary data collected through a structured questionnaire from professionals across the Indian tourism landscape. The findings reveal that while AI is effectively automating routine administrative and repetitive tasks, it is simultaneously creating a demand for a new set of high-level skills, particularly in digital literacy and data management. Approximately 80% of respondents reported significant improvements in customer service speed and a reduction in manual errors due to AI tools like chatbots and automated booking systems. However, the study identifies a critical "training gap," with 45% of the workforce citing a lack of technical expertise as a major barrier to AI adoption. Furthermore, the data suggests that AI is not a threat to total employment but a catalyst for "job enhancement," shifting the human focus toward more personalized and complex guest interactions. The research concludes that the future of Indian tourism employment depends on a symbiotic "Hybrid Model" where technological efficiency is balanced with human empathy. To ensure a smooth transition, the study recommends urgent industry-wide reskilling programs and proactive government policy frameworks like 'Digital India' to empower the workforce. Ultimately, AI will not replace the human touch in Indian hospitality but will redefine it for a more efficient, tech-savvy future.

UNLOCKING SANSKRIT WITH AI – OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES
Asst. Prof. Apeksha Kedar Naniwadekar
DOI : 10.5281/amierj.22111821
Abstract
Certificate
Combining Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Sanskrit opens up exciting new ways to study one of the world’s oldest languages. This paper looks at the big opportunities and the difficult challenges of using modern technology to revive and understand Sanskrit.
Sanskrit is a very logical language with strict grammar rules. This makes it a perfect match for AI and computer programming. Today, AI gives us the opportunity to scan and digitize thousands of ancient handwritten scrolls using smart tools. It also helps create apps that act like personal teachers, making it easier for anyone to learn the language. Automated translation is another big plus, helping to share ancient Indian wisdom about science and philosophy with the whole world in many different languages.
However, there are still challenges to overcome. One major problem is that we don’t have enough typed-out data to train AI models properly. Also, Sanskrit is complex because words often blend together, which can confuse standard computers. We must also be careful to respect the cultural and religious importance of these texts. In conclusion, while AI can lead to a “Sanskrit rebirth,” it works best when computer experts and traditional scholars work together to preserve this heritage for future generations.

In the 2026 business environment, digital transformation has progressed beyond including stand-alone digital technologies to embracing "Agentic Ecosystems." The evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) from a recommendation engine to an independent decision-maker is examined in this essay. This report highlights important revenue and efficiency potential by examining the transition to Agentic Commerce, where AI agents negotiate on behalf of customers and brands, and the deployment of Supply Chain Digital Twins. The results indicate that although predictive orchestration lowers operational costs, "Micro-personalization"—the capacity to modify the entire customer journey in real-time depending on individual cognitive and emotional intent—is currently the main value generator. AI is now the central operating system of the retail ecosystem rather than just a supporting tool, marking a significant turning point in the digital transformation of business. We explore the potential of supply chain digital twins, hyper-personalized emotional intelligence, and multi-agent systems. According to the study, the execution of "standing intents" using standardized protocols like the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) has replaced aggregate data collecting as the major value generator. According to our findings, companies who implement an AI-native architecture have notable increases in productivity, including a 35% decrease in stock outs and a 20% increase in customer satisfaction.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become one of the most important technologies in today’s digital world and is playing a major role in transforming Information Technology (IT) services. Traditional IT services mainly depend on manual processes, human monitoring, and reactive problem-solving methods. Due to increasing system complexity, large volumes of data, and higher user expectations, these traditional approaches often result in delayed responses, higher operational costs, and reduced service efficiency. AI-powered solutions are helping organizations overcome these limitations by introducing automation, intelligence, and predictive capabilities into IT services. Technologies such as Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), predictive analytics, and automation tools are widely used in IT Service Management (ITSM). These technologies enable IT systems to automatically detect issues, predict failures before they occur, resolve repetitive tasks, and provide continuous support through chatbots and virtual assistants. As a result, organizations experience improved service quality, reduced downtime, better decision-making, and enhanced user satisfaction. Most existing research papers mainly focus on the technical advantages of AI in IT services, such as faster service delivery and cost reduction. However, they often ignore important aspects like ethical issues, data privacy concerns, lack of skilled professionals, challenges faced by small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and the need for effective human–AI collaboration. This research paper aims to address these missing areas by providing a balanced discussion on both the benefits and challenges of AI-powered IT services. The paper is written in simple language and is suitable for first-year BSc IT students, helping them understand not only the technological impact of AI but also its social, ethical, and practical implications in modern IT services.
